1. Hair down, slicked-back hairstyle

Step 1

Take some hair gel and start running it through your hair from the roots, and begin working backward with your fingers. The key here is to not worry too much about the sides of your hair and instead focus on the top part of your head – making sure it’s slicked back. If you find your hands aren’t doing the trick, try using a comb or hairbrush.

Step 2

Use a drop or two of hair oil for the sides, smoothening down any loose ends. Once done, tuck your hair behind your ears. You can use bobby pins for an extra hole (we recommend this for thick or long hair).

Step 3

Finish off the look with some light hairspray, and there you have it: a perfect slicked back hairstyle ready to dance the night away.

2. Half updo

Step 1

Pull half your hair back into a high ponytail.

Step 2

Clip two 1-clip wefts together and secure one on either side of the ponytail. Take a piece of hair from underneath the ponytail and wrap it around to conceal the hair elastic.

Step 3

Using a hairbrush, gently tease the top layer to add some extra fullness.

Step 4

You can either leave your hair straight or add in some extra curls for a look that’s more Ariana-esque. Josie opts to curl her hair with a 1-inch curling wand for some added glamour and bounce.

3. Classic Curls

Step 1

Part your hair down the middle or where you usually part it.

Step 2

Using a thin straightener or curling iron, begin curling your hair away from your face to create a glamourous look. To pretect your hair, we recommend using a heat protection spray before-hand.

Step 3

Run your fingers or a brush through the curls to create volume and give the illusion of more curls. And ther you have it, curls that could kill!
