It seems like spring has come around in the blink of an eye and summer is just around the corner (seriously, where has this year gone?). With the warmer weather comes a whole new set of hair trends that we are already loving. There’s nothing more enjoyable than changing up your look to fit the seasons and spring/summer always provide some of the most fun hair trends. We can’t wait to share some of our favourites with you all!
Claw clips
We’ve seen the comeback of scrunchies, hair scarves and diamond clips, so it was only natural that claw clips were going to be back on our radar – and they certainly are! We love the ease of twisting your hair up and securing it with a cute claw clip. It’s easy, it’s fast, and it’s the perfect way to get your hair out of the way in the warmer weather. What’s not to love?
Crimped waves
Crimped – or mermaid – waves are seriously having a moment right now and it’s not hard to see why. The hairstyle looks super cute and laid back, but still makes an impact. Mermaid waves just scream summer to us and we definitely think we’ll be seeing a lot of the ‘do in the next few months. Whether you use curlers or a heatless method to achieve the look, it’s definitely a trend that will be sticking around.
Embracing the natural
We have loved the rising trend of embracing your natural locks – whether it’s curly, straight or anywhere in between! Spring and summer are all about minimal effort and laid back style, so there’s no better time than to rock your natural hair. It’s also a great way to give your hair a rest from heat styling, which will go a long way in keeping it in great condition.
Pastel pink
Pink hair is really coming out to play at the moment, and it’s definitely a colour that will be here all summer long. It’s a great way to completely change up your look and try something different! Of course, we 100% recommend that you visit a professional to achieve this look and don’t attempt it at home – we are experts and know what we’re doing!
Bright colours
We definitely think quarantine has something to do with this one! While being at home has seen a lot of people experimenting with their hair, we think this trend will continue into the spring and summer months. A pop of bright colour here and there can take your look to a whole new level. Again, we highly recommend seeing a professional to achieve this look.
